Trip to Dublin

I know, last week, it was quiet here. I am just overloaded with work in the moment. I will hopefully have some time in the next two weeks in order to update all of you, what I will do in Dublin. First of all, it is a business trip to get myself trained as a trainer for my Job. I will definitely not miss it to take some pictures in Dublin. I hope to find those nice street-photography pics, those coloful landscapes and hopefully as well some architecture shots. I am looking forward to my trip, which starts tonight. I hope you can follow my trip and enjoy the pictures and news from Ireland!

After the workshop in the Studio, I had to go home very quick, as there were already 2 models waiting. The Make-Up Artist Beatriz has recommended my work to a friend, and this session was now the test session. As it is important to know, if working together is possible, such sessions are important to me!

Workshop in Studio Lighting, First Results!

This weekend I have taking a class of Studio Lighting setup. Manuel, the teacher today is a very passionate Photographer. He was offering this very nice workshop in order to share his knowledge with others. 

It was a very interesting morning. Toghether with 4 others, I had the oportunity to see the difference between soft and hard light, I have learned how to use light to get very impressive Pictures. Follow this lik to see more results from this Workshop!

Last Saturday, it was very hot, I was part of the Meetup Photowalk. Around 20 Photographers of Barcelona were walking throu the city center of Barcelona, looking for the ultimate shot of people in the streets. It was quite a challenge, as I need to lose a little of the respect of the privacy, in order to find this intense and storytelling picture! Here you can find some of my last tries!

The long Weekend is over, it was intense and quick, even if it was one day longer. I am looking forward to publish more of the Sundays session. I had a lot of fun, and I suppose, the others as well!

Yesterday, the weather was beautiful, everybody was punctual and the ambiance was relaxed and creative. So, we started to prepare, had lunch together and then we went for the first shooting. I tried the first time to use Speedlights to soften the shadows. Until now, I have mostly used a silver reflector. I am still learning to find the right light setup to balance the ambient light mixed with Flashes. Anyhow, the results looks good to me, maybe you have some critics and tips! I appreciate!

This weekend, many many events are going on (not only) in Barcelona. The weather is brilliant and sunny! This means, good opportunities to shoot loads of pictures! On the FirEntitats, a Exposition from the associations in my neighborhood Sants, I have found, what I have missed so far! A group of Photographers, which share experiences, organizes workshops, goes on excursions and spend just a good moment together. So, I have signed in and am now part of this association. I am looking forward to learn and share a lot. I have just created my profile and I am curious to see, how my photography will become better and better! Here is the link!

Impressions like in the god old times

During the weekend, I had like lots of vintage moments. First we have visited the Roman Fair in Sants. Kind of freaky, because just 2 nights before, the Police was fighting against Can Vies symphatisants. But this weekend everything was quite in Sants. 

Later this weekend we were going to the market Les Encants, a market which is highly modern but as well has its part very very vintage. Here I was looking for patterns and typical scenes on this market.
